CBSE EXAM 2026: Today is the last chance for CBSE to correct errors in the LOC data of Class 10 and 12 students. Candidates can update the data by visiting the official CBSE website.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has given school principals another opportunity to correct errors in the LOC (List of Candidates) of Class 10 and 12 students. Through this data correction window, schools can make changes or corrections to information such as student name, parent's name, date of birth, and subject.
Last Chance Today
This correction process began on October 13, 2025, and today, October 27, 2025, is the last day. Schools that have not yet updated their student data have only today as their last chance. After this, the board will not allow any changes. If any school submits incorrect information, it could lead to further exam-related problems, such as admit card processing, exam results, and certificate errors.
How Many Students Will Appear?
CBSE stated that approximately 4.5 million students will appear for the 10th and 12th board exams this year.
Practical Exam Schedule Released
The practical exam schedule for 2026 has also been released. Practical exams will run from February 17 to July 15, 2026. These exams will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., while for some subjects, such as painting or automotive, the timing will be until 12:30 p.m.
The board has warned that submitting any information without proper verification by schools or parents could lead to problems later. Therefore, everyone is urged to carefully review the student's complete information and correct any errors today.
