UP Govt Scheme: To stop the increasing incidents of stubble burning, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has started a wonderful scheme. Under which farmers will be provided cow dung manure in exchange of stubble. Under this scheme of Yogi government, if any farmer gives stubble, he will be given cow dung fertilizer by the government. This straw will be used as bedding along with food in the cowsheds. This scheme will not only help in reducing pollution, but will also increase the fertility of the fields.
Actually, the Uttar Pradesh government is taking initiative to stop the incidents of stubble burning in the state through this scheme. Keeping this in view, the Animal Husbandry Department will take stubble from the farmers and give cow dung fertilizer in exchange. Under this scheme, the department will provide fertilizers to the farmers from cow shelter sites. The stubble given by the farmers will be used as bedding and food for the animals. Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh has given instructions to the officials in this regard. For this, he has asked the farmers to explain the benefits of stubble and connect them with this scheme.
During the review meeting held in the capital Lucknow, Minister Dharampal Singh said that instead of taking action and fine on stubble burning, it is better to give benefits to the farmers. Along with this, he has also warned the Chief Veterinary Officers of the districts where straw tender is pending. Minister Dharampal made it clear that strict action will be taken against the officials who are negligent in this matter.
Let us tell you that under the government scheme, farmers will collect stubble in their fields and give it to cow sheds. Where that stubble will be used as bedding and food for the animals. In return, high quality cow dung manure will be provided to the farmers. Due to which the fertility capacity of the fields will increase. Along with this, pollution caused by burning stubble can also be reduced.
