Chhath Puja Saman: Chhath Mahaparva, the festival of faith and folk tradition, has ended today. In this Chhath Puja, many things are offered as per the rules. Many times, even after offering and donating in puja, some things are left. To prevent these leftover things from getting spoiled, you can reuse them at home. We are telling you about the methods of reusing which will be useful.
Raw bananas are offered in Chhath Puja in which the entire string of bananas is left even after offering or making Prasad. To save bananas from getting wasted, you can make chips apart from vegetables. If there are still bananas left, add green cardamom to the banana and keep it covered in a container. With this method, bananas ripen in two-three days. Then you can consume them.
Offering sugarcane also has significance in Chhath Puja. Sugarcane can be used properly after puja. For this you can drink sugarcane juice or make rice or kheer from sugarcane juice. This dish looks delicious.
You can easily use the remaining flowers of Chhath Puja at home. For this, you can put the flowers in the pots at home, which will dry up and become compost and after the seeds of some flowers germinate, new plants will emerge. After drying the flowers, add things like incense, camphor, desi ghee to it, grind them and make tikkis from the paste and dry them. These tikkis can be burnt in the house, which prevents insects from coming and makes the house smell nice with a wonderful aroma.
Instead of throwing away the leftover or used lamps during Chhath Puja, you can reuse them. You can decorate these lamps with color and keep them in the showcase in a new way. Or you can also make candle holders from these lamps.
The fruits left after Chhath Puja are usually eaten or distributed along with Prasad, but many times the fruits are left even after this. You can make these remaining fruits in the form of custard.
