Reliance Jio is launching a new line of Corporate JioFi plans to target the growing demand for flexible portable and affordable high-speed internet for small and medium businesses. The key benefit that is being offered for these new plans is that the company will provide the JioFi router free of cost on “use and return” basis significantly reducing the initial costs of acquiring a dedicated mobile broadband solution. The JioFi router is a portable personal Wi-Fi hotspot that can be used to share a mobile data connection between up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices. The device will work on Jio’s 4G LTE networks and offer download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps. Built-in 2300 mAh battery will provide up to 6 hours of run time which can be especially useful in the event of power outages. The JioFi M2S model also features HD voice calling and conferencing on 2G/3G devices using the JioCall app.   New JioFi Corporate Plans for Business The new Jio corporate plans come in three tiers with different data limits and lock-in periods and are priced attractively. Plans are available only for minimum first order of 30 connections clearly targeted at B2B customers. Plans and benefits include: ₹299/month: 35 GB data + 100 SMS per day (24 month lock-in) ₹349/month: 50 GB data + 100 SMS per day (18 month lock-in) ₹399/month: 65 GB data + 100 SMS per day (18 month lock-in) The big advantage for high-data users is that data rollover is allowed for up to 200 GB. In case you exhaust your monthly high speed data you will still be able to continue browsing at 64 Kbps so that your internet connectivity does not get disrupted completely. Jio’s new JioFi corporate plans are another step forward in its plans to acquire and lock in enterprise customers by combining the hardware device that is essential for such use cases with reasonably priced high-volume data plans.
