Desk: New features keep getting added to the app for better experience of the users, now the company is bringing a feature which till now was available exclusively for WhatsApp Business accounts. The name of this feature is Cover Photo, just like you put a cover photo on your Facebook profile apart from DP, in the same way soon you will be able to give a great look to your profile on WhatsApp also. Actually, WhatsApp is now working to improve profile customization, currently this feature is still in the development stage.

According to a post by WABetaInfo, a website that keeps an eye on WhatsApp development, WhatsApp users will soon get the facility to upload a cover photo and set it on their profile. Once this feature is released, users will be able to select and upload the photo from the phone’s gallery to set the profile cover photo. The cover photo will appear at the top of your profile, just like it does on Facebook.
