Dehri on Son, 30 October (His). Milind Dharmarao Ramteke, observer of Nokha Assembly constituency of Rohtas district, inspected the election activities of Bihar Assembly general elections today. During this time, Returning Officer of Nokha Assembly Constituency Vijay Kumar Pandey and other officials of the concerned election team were present with him.
Ramteke inspected various polling stations during his field visit and took information about the arrangements, accessibility, security arrangements and basic facilities of the polling stations. He instructed the polling personnel and local administrative officers present to ensure that all the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission are followed in letter and spirit.
During the tour, Ramteke also interacted with the general public and voters. He gave a message to the citizens that in this great festival of democracy, every voter should exercise his franchise without any fear, temptation or pressure. Making voters aware, he said that fair, peaceful and fear-free voting is the true identity of the democratic process.
While reviewing the preparations for the election process, the observer also ensured that necessary facilities are available for disabled voters at all polling stations and appropriate arrangements are made for the convenience of women voters.
The Observer directed all the officers to make continuous efforts to increase confidence and awareness among the voters so that free, fair and transparent elections can be conducted in Nokha assembly constituency.
