Adobe and YouTube have announced a new collaboration aimed at empowering creators around the world to produce short-form video content. The two companies have introduced ‘Create for YouTube Shorts’, a dedicated content creation space coming soon to Adobe Premiere Mobile, combining Adobe’s powerful editing tools with YouTube Shorts’ growing platform.

The new feature will give millions of YouTube creators direct access to Adobe’s professional video editing tools inside Premiere Mobile, enabling them to quickly edit and publish Shorts. Creators will also be able to save, customise, and share templates, helping spark trends and inspire new forms of storytelling. The feature can be accessed directly from YouTube Shorts via the “Edit in Adobe Premiere” option.

With this integration, creators can easily produce viral videos, expand their reach, and stay on top of trends. The content creation space will include exclusive effects, transitions, templates, and title presets to make videos more dynamic and visually striking. Creators can also explore ready-made templates or design their own for faster, high-quality production.

“Our goal at YouTube is to meet creators where they are and give everyone the tools they need to make storytelling easier and connect with their audiences,” said Scott Silver, Vice President of Engineering at YouTube. “This partnership with Adobe will give creators more choice and access to advanced editing tools, unlocking new ways for them to connect with viewers and reach global audiences.”
