In one of the biggest luxury home deals in North India a businessman from Delhi-NCR has bought four high-end apartments in DLF’s new project The Dahlias in Gurugram for about Rs. 380 crore. The Dahlias is DLF’s newest super-luxury development located on Golf Course Road inside the DLF5 Golf Links area which already features other premium residences such as The Camellias The Aralias and The Magnolias.
As per media reports the deal was arranged by Rizin Advisory a real estate consultancy and brokerage firm. Its founder Kshitij Jain confirmed that his firm advised on the transaction.
Jain said the purchase completed in the first week of October includes four apartments that have been combined into one large residence. Each apartment is about 9600 square feet making the total area around 38400 square feet.
He added that the price works out to nearly Rs. 1 lakh per square foot making it the biggest luxury home deal ever recorded in North India.
Market sources said the buyer already owns a home in The Camellias and bought these four apartments in The Dahlias as an upgrade. The purchase highlights the rising demand for ultra-luxury homes in the NCR region.
The buyer is a Delhi-NCR-based business family with interests in several sectors including plastics chemicals and fertilizers.
DLF owner has chosen not to comment on the deal.
Inside The Dahlias project
The Dahlias is one of DLF’s most ambitious luxury housing projects spread over nearly 7.5 million square feet. It includes 420 ultra-luxury homes across 29 floors in eight towers along with 15 duplex penthouses and an exclusive clubhouse.
Earlier this year DLF announced pre-launch sales worth Rs. 11816 crore for The Dahlias one of the biggest sales figures ever seen in India’s residential property market.
The development is designed to offer both privacy and open green spaces. Overlooking the upcoming Lake Park the project’s eight towers are built in opposite arcs to provide scenic views and a sense of openness while keeping residents’ privacy intact.
