Premanand Maharaj: Premanand Ji Maharaj says that stop expressing your sorrow to people, as simple as this may sound, it is as deep as it is. Most of us, whenever we face any problem, look for someone to listen to, call someone, cry to someone, tell someone about our sorrow.
But did his suffering subside? No, rather my heart became more heavy.
Saint Premanand Ji Maharaj says that the one who remembers the Lord after enduring sorrow is a true seeker and the one who pours out his sorrow into worldly talk can never attain that spiritual strength. When you share your sorrows with someone, there are three losses.
Disadvantages of sharing your grief with others
First- The person in front of you may be happy to hear your sorrow, not everyone in this world is your well-wisher, there are some who are smiling from within in your suffering.
Second- When you repeatedly tell someone about your problems, that person starts considering you weak. Even if he doesn't say anything on the outside, he thinks from within and his mind is very weak, he breaks down on everything.
third- Every time you say something sad, it sinks deeper into your mind. You will feel that it has become lighter by saying it, but the truth is that by saying it again and again, that pain gets permanently settled in your consciousness. Saint Tukaram Ji Maharaj used to say that when the mind is sad, it should be dedicated to the name. It won't be lightened by talking, it won't be quenched by crying. You will find peace only in the name of Ram.
