In the final against South Africa India batted first and posted a massive score of 298/7 in 50 overs. Shafali Verma played a brilliant innings of 87 runs and then also took two wickets with the ball. She was chosen as the Player of the Match for her all-round performance. Amanjot wouldnt have reached this far without her.” Family Juggling Between Hospital and World Cup Bhupinder said that his family had been struggling between the hospital and home for the past few weeks. He said “My mother suffered a heart attack last month. We didnt tell Amanjot about it so that her focus wouldnt be diverted from the game. Now Indias victory has brought relief to our family.
