Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly sexually harassed while she was walking her dog in the Indiranagar area of Bengaluru. The incident reportedly took place on November 1, just before noon. Efforts are on to nab the accused.

As per the report by news agency PTI, the woman was walking her dog when suddenly the accused allegedly called her “madam” to draw attention. When she turned to hear him, the 30-year-old accused man allegedly exposed himself and started masturbating in public. The victim then spoke her sister and a friend after which they approached the police.

Sharing further details, the police said that the act appeared to be a deliberate attempt to outrage the modesty of the woman. A case has been filed under under Section 75 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) to deal with the matter. This section deals with sexual harassment related cases. While efforts are on to trace the accused, the CCTV footage from the area is being thoroughly checked.

In another incident, a teenage girl recently allegedly killed her mother, along with her school male friends. After the crime, the accused allegedly hanged her with a saree to make it look like a suicide. The girl was having disputes with her mother frequently, who reportedly objected to her having a relationship with a person.

The incident seemed to be a plot as it was believed to be a suicide in the first place. The girl then locked the house and was on the run. Upon returning to her grandmother, she tried to come up with a story. However, her aunt suspected her, following which the police was alerted. The girl then confessed to the crime during the police probe, after which she was taken in custody.
