Nissan Tekton will be produced entirely in India at the Renault-Nissan Alliance Plant, Chennai. Along with this, it will also be sent for export market, making India the global manufacturing hub of Nissan. This will be the second SUV after the company’s Magnite. Talking about the price, the expected price will be between ₹9 lakhs to ₹14 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will be targeted at customers who are looking for a stylish, feature-loaded and relayed mid-size SUV.
Speaking of design, Nissan Tekton’s design is inspired by the new generation’s Renault Duster, but its look and feel is entirely derived from the Nissan Patrol SUV. The front features dual chrome strips with slimmer grilles and the central Nissan logo. The clamshell bonnet, dual-tone front bumper and body cladding give the SUV a muscular and premium look. Along with this, 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, roof rails and silver-finished air intake designs further enhance its dynamic style. Connected LED taillights in the rear profile, roof-mounted spoiler and dual-tone silver-black bumper give it a modern and powerful stance.
Although the interior has not been fully updated, teaser images released by the company show that it seems quite attractive. The soft-touch material is used on the dashboard and ambient lighting gives it a luxury car-like feel. The sleek copper strip extending from AC vents to infotainment screens gives the design a premium touch. This SUV has the perfect blend of comfort and style.

In terms of design, the Nissan Tekton is built on the CMF-B platform, which is Renault-Nissan’s global architecture. It will be offered with both petrol and strong hybrid engine options. According to reports, the top variant will also get an AWD (All-Wheel Drive) system, which will enhance the SUV’s off-road capabilities. Transmission options will include both a 6-speed manual and an automatic gearbox. The strong hybrid system will only be available in the top variant, promising better fuel efficiency and smoother performance.
