During the fourth day of the National Service Scheme (NSS) camp at Government Senior Secondary School in Bharmour, Assistant Sub-Inspector Yash Pal from the local police station spoke to students about the serious risks associated with drug addiction and criminal behavior.
He highlighted the challenges of escaping addiction, stating that it can be incredibly hard to break free once someone is ensnared. Citing the proverb, “Better alone than in bad company,” he encouraged students to steer clear of peers involved in drugs or illegal activities.
On that day, NSS Program Officer Vijay Sharma organized a cleanliness initiative at the historic Chaurasi temple complex, with participation from Head Constable Ajay Kumar, Senior Lecturer Jagpal Chauhan, Krishan Pakhretia, and other volunteers.
