Reliance Jio has started offering free Google AI Pro subscription for 18 months from today i.e. November 8. The Indian telecom company announced its partnership with Google last week. Under this partnership, users will be given free access to Gemini AI. Its validity is going to be one and a half years i.e. 18 months. Initially, the company said that this offer will be available only for users aged 18 to 25 years, but now the company is starting this offer for users above 25 years of age as well.

Follow these simple steps to claim free Google AI Pro subscription

The most important thing is to have a Jio SIM card to access the 18 months free Gemini Pro features. After this the unlimited 5G plan should be active in this SIM card. • On the home page of the MyJio app, a banner of ‘Early access’ will be seen at the top.
• Tap on the Claim now button that appears on the banner.
• Now you will be prompted to open a new page in the browser.
• After opening the page, the plan information will appear on that web page.
• Scroll to the bottom and tap on ‘Agree’.
• Now go to Gemini app and confirm your Pro status.

Compared to the free tier, the Google AI Pro (or Gemini Pro) subscription will give users access to new and more powerful features. Usually this plan is available at Rs 1,950 per month. But Jio users will be able to use this plan for free for 18 months. That means users will also get an opportunity to use Google AI Pro (or Gemini Pro) subscription and users will also save.

In this you will get extended access to Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model. Along with this, there will also be an opportunity to use advanced features like Nano Banana and Deep Research. Deep Research feature on Gemini 2.5 Pro is not available for free users.
