Air purifying plants: Due to increasing pollution in Delhi, people are having difficulty in breathing and various types of diseases are spreading. In such a situation, living in Delhi today has become challenging for health. The way to get relief from the problem of increasing air pollution is to plant air-purifying plants in the house. These plants not only keep the air clean but also enhance the beauty of the house.
Recently, on November 7, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) had released data, in which the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the capital Delhi was recorded at 311. According to NASA’s Clean Air Study and Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), there are some plants which can be planted at home and these plants work like air purifiers. There are some plants which reduce harmful elements like benzene, Fahrenheit and carbon monoxide by 20 to 30 percent.
Golden Pothos plant which is also known as Devil’s Ivy. This plant can be easily planted and taken care of at home. Its leaves have yellow stripes. This plant helps in purifying the indoor air. It is a vine that grows rapidly, growing approximately 12 to 18 inches in a month.
Snake Plant is a popular, low-maintenance houseplant, known for its long, sword-like leaves. It purifies the air and requires less water and light.
Spider Plants is a house plant, which is also known as Chlorophytum comosum. It is very easy to take care of it. It helps in purifying polluted air. This plant grows small plants (spiderates) on long hanging stems, which look like spiders.

Talking about Peace Lily plant, it is a beautiful plant that grows even in low light, which helps in purifying the air. Its scientific name is Spathiphyllum and it is known for its shiny green leaves and white flowers. Avoid going near this plant as coming in contact with its juice can cause skin irritation.
