Benefits of fenugreek for diabetes: In today’s time, diabetes i.e. sugar disease is rapidly catching people. Wrong eating habits, stress and inactive lifestyle are the biggest causes of this disease. According to experts, if the day is started in the right way then it is not difficult to control sugar. Two small but effective morning habits can play a big role in keeping this disease under control.

1. Consuming fenugreek or cinnamon with lukewarm water

Soak one spoon fenugreek seeds in water overnight. After waking up in the morning, drink this water lukewarm or you can also boil the grains lightly and drink it. Fenugreek contains a fiber called ‘galactomannan’, which helps in controlling the sugar level in the blood. Apart from this, it also improves the metabolism of the body and keeps digestion healthy.

If you don’t like the taste of fenugreek, cinnamon water is a good alternative. Soak half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder in a glass of water overnight and boil it and drink it in the morning. Cinnamon contains elements that increase insulin sensitivity, which keeps the glucose level in the body normal. It also reduces swelling and infection.

2. Morning walk and sunlight

Morning walk is no less than therapy for diabetic patients. A daily 20–30 minute walk controls blood sugar levels and reduces stress. If possible, walk barefoot on green grass in the morning — it not only brings positive energy to the body but also improves blood circulation.

It is also important to be exposed to mild sunlight while walking, because it increases the level of Vitamin D in the body, which improves the functioning of insulin. Keep in mind that sunlight between 7 and 9 am is most beneficial.

  • Be sure to drink water on an empty stomach in the morning.

  • Stay away from processed foods and sugary beverages.

  • To reduce stress, include yoga and meditation in your daily routine.

If these two morning habits are adopted then it can be quite easy to control the sugar level, and the body will remain energetic and mind calm throughout the day.
