Manchester City have wrapped up an impressive 11-day run with a resounding 3-0 victory over Liverpool, closing the gap to Premier League leaders Arsenal to just four points in the process.

Erling Haaland continued his stunning goal-scoring form by netting his 14th league goal of the season, despite missing a penalty earlier in the first half. Nico Gonzalez's deflected shot doubled City's lead before Jeremy Doku curled in a third.

This means that since their 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa, City have seen off Swansea City, AFC Bournemouth, Borussia Dortmund and now Liverpool. With the final international break of the season upon us, City will be aiming to end 2025 on a high when domestic football resumes.
