Arsene Wenger has warned Mikel Arteta that the use of AI at Arsenal could be “dangerous”. The Gunners have enjoyed a brilliant start to the season under the Spanish coach.
They sit four points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table heading into the November international break. Arteta has attempted to employ a number of tactics to get Arsenal into their lofty position including making set pieces and throw-ins two particularly profitable weapons.
One technique that the Arsenal boss has also turned to is the use of AI. Speaking last week, Arteta wouldn't go into specifics over what he was using Artificial Intelligence for, but said: "It’s a tool that is super powerful if you use it in the right way and you ask the right questions. It’s in use already for many things and many processes that can help not just a team but an organisation as well.
"It will improve and it will give us good insight, or things at least to think about. I’m not an expert but it’s a valuable tool. We have developed certain things that in our opinion can help us to understand ourselves better and evaluate what we do and what we can improve.
"And then we will explore using it in many other areas of the club."

However legendary former coachWenger has claimed that while the technology has its positives, nothing will match the tactical nous of a dedicated, human coach.
The Frenchman said: “It can help to make better decisions. AI has a fantastic quality, it can absorb millions of different situations and give you an answer in one second or a fraction of a second.
“AI can say something and the personality of a coach can say that’s wrong. As long as the human being keeps control, authority and power to make the decision you can use any scientific tool. But what is happening and what is dangerous is if the science dominates the decisions.”
