This upcoming feature was spotted by wabetainfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp features.

The screenshot attached to wabetainfo's report shows a new notification tab. It has two sections: Follower and Admin Activity. First, regarding follower activity, turning on notifications will alert users when new followers join. Additionally, channel owners will receive notifications of reactions to content. This will allow them to instantly become aware of new followers and reactions, eliminating the need to visit their channel.

With the Admin Activity feature enabled, channel owners will be notified of changes made by other admins. This feature will send notifications whenever other admins share updates to the channel. This will ensure channel owners are aware of every update to the channel, eliminating the need to repeatedly access the channel for each update.

The report also stated that the introduction of a notification system will make it easier for channel owners to monitor performance and facilitate content planning. This will also improve coordination between the owner and followers.
