In a grand event in Hyderabad, SS Rajamouli and his team introduced the fans to the upcoming film Varanasi. The film’s lead actors Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran were also present here. SS Rajamouli has released the first look of his film. During this, he gave a statement on the stage which is going viral. He has said that despite films full of mythological symbols, he is not a religious Hindu. He considers himself an atheist who follows Hindu religion. They claim that it predates Hinduism. However, due to this statement he is being accused of hurting religious sentiments.

‘I don’t believe in God’

Let us tell you that some time before a program in Varanasi, some clips of the film were leaked online and there were technical glitches. After this, an angry SS Rajamouli, speaking in Telugu, said – ‘This is an emotional moment for me. I don’t believe in God. My father came and said that Lord Hanuman will take care of everything from behind. Is this how he handles everything? Thinking about this makes me angry.

Why did Rajamouli say this?

Talking about the technical glitches, SS Rajamouli said, “My wife is also a big devotee of Lord Hanuman ji. She behaves as if Hanuman ji is her friend and talks to him. I got angry at her. When my father talked about Hanuman ji and suggested to depend on his blessings for success, I got very angry.”
