Pav Bhaji Recipe: Indians are very fond of food and drink. Indian food is a fusion of many cultures and diversity. At many places we get such dishes that our mouth waters just by thinking about them. If we talk about Pav Bhaji, then Pav Bhaji, the famous street food of Mumbai, is now being liked all over the country.

Now you will get to eat this dish in the menu of every restaurant. Today we are telling the recipe of making pav bhaji, which is very easy and its taste is also amazing. Let us know the simple recipe of making pav bhaji.

These are the ingredients to make pav bhaji-

Potato- 2-3 medium
Cauliflower- 1 cup
Carrot- 1/2 cup
Peas- 1/2 cup
Onion- 1 large, finely chopped
Tomato Puree – 1.5 cups
Capsicum – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
Ginger-garlic paste- 1-2 teaspoons
Pav Bhaji Masala- 2-3 spoons
Red chilli powder- 1-2 teaspoons
Turmeric powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
Salt- as per taste
butter/oil
Green Coriander (finely chopped)
Lemon juice- 1 teaspoon

Method of making pav bhaji-

To make pav bhaji, prepare it as follows using the ingredients given above:

First of all, wash and cut potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and peas and put these vegetables in a pressure cooker, add some water and boil till one whistle.

Then after the pressure of the cooker releases, take out the vegetables and mash them well with the help of a masher.

Now heat a big pan or pan. Add butter and some oil in it and let it heat.

Add finely chopped onion to hot butter and fry until it turns light pink. Now add ginger-garlic paste and finely chopped capsicum and fry for 1-2 minutes.

Immediately after this add tomato puree and salt. Cook the spices until it starts releasing oil and becomes thick.

Now add mashed vegetables to the prepared masala. Set the consistency of the bhaji by adding water as required.

Let the bhaji cook on medium flame for 5-6 minutes so that all the flavors get mixed well.

Lastly, add finely chopped coriander and a little lemon juice, mix and turn off the gas.

Now heat a pan and put a big piece of butter on it. Add a pinch of pav bhaji masala and a little green coriander to the butter and mix.

Cut the pav from the middle and butter Place it on the pan. Cook the pav until it becomes golden and slightly crisp on both sides.

Add a piece of butter and green coriander over the hot bhaji and serve it with roasted pav, finely chopped onion and a slice of lemon.
