Spice Lounge Food Works a restaurant sector company has made its investors rich. The stock has gained over 27% in just five days and has been in a 5% upper circuit for the past several trading days. The stock has once again hit an upper circuit today. The companys stock is up 5% today at ₹65.53 on the BSE. Its market cap is ₹4568.24 crore.
The stocks rally was driven by strong September quarter (Q2 FY26) results. According to data available on the BSE 148900 equity shares of the company were traded as of 11:15 am.
The companys net profit jumped 300% to ₹3.4 crore in Q2 FY26 compared to ₹0.83 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also increased by 158% to ₹46.20 crore from ₹18 crore last year. The companys total comprehensive income increased from ₹8.1 crore to ₹3.50 crore.
The company recorded an EBITDA of approximately ₹4.15 crore in Q2 reflecting improved operational performance. Total income for the quarter was ₹49 crore a multiple increase from ₹18.2 crore last year.
In fact recently the company had said in its filing that the Board of Directors of Spice Lounge Food Works has approved the plan to acquire Rightfest Hospitality LLP and buy a majority stake in Blackstone Management LLC.
The company has approved a proposal to acquire 100% stake in Rightfest Hospitality LLP. Rightfest Hospitality operates premium lifestyle ventures such as SALUD in Goa and XORA Bar & Kitchen in Hyderabad.
The company states that the acquisition will provide business expansion and revenue growth opportunities particularly in the nightlife and experiential entertainment segment which is rapidly growing in metro cities and tourist destinations. The acquisition is expected to be completed within the next 12 months.
Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading higher in early trade on Thursday mirroring a rally in global equity markets with fresh foreign fund inflows also adding to the optimistic trend.
