Meghan Markle's Christmas episode of With Love, Meghan is just weeks away, with many fans excited to watch the show. While it is believed the episode will give fans an insight into Meghan's Christmas traditions, many may be confused to know that, like series one and two of her lifestyle show, the episode has not been filmed in the Duchess's own home.
While Meghan lives on a sprawling Montecito estate that would, no doubt, be perfect for the cameras, Prince Harry's wife instead has her Netflix series filmed at a rented mansion. This mansion is believed to be just two miles away from the home of Meghan, Harry, and their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, live in.
The reason for this filming location was explained by Meghan earlier this year, when she said she did not want to film at her family home as she wanted to "protect that safe haven".
She previously told People magazine: "I wanted to protect that safe haven. We're a close-knit family, and I love those moments - putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day.
"Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that's a lot of people to have in your house!"
While fans may be disappointed that the episode will not be filmed in Meghan's own home, the home hired for the purpose of filming the Netflix show is equally impressive.
This home sits on a £5million ($6.1million) estate owned by Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, a couple who run in the high society circles of the American Riviera, as reported by MailOnline.
The property reportedly spans across 4,500 sq feet, and has a kitchen stocked with some very expensive appliances and equipment. This includes a £15,000 cooker, £600 pans and £60 chopping boards - perfect for use on With Love, Meghan.
The holiday episode of the show will air on December 3.
