Fatima Bosch of Mexico has been crowned Miss Universe 2025 during the grand finale held in Thailand. The 25-year-old contestant was already seen as one of the top contenders, particularly after a widely shared incident earlier in the pageant where she was publicly reprimanded by a Thai pageant director during a live stream. Her calm and composed reaction not only impressed global viewers but also strengthened the support she received from fans worldwide.



Bosch accepted the crown from the outgoing Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark. Thailand’s Praveenar Singh secured the position of first runner-up, followed by Venezuela’s Stephany Abasali, the Philippines’ Ahtisa Manalo, and Olivia Yacé of Ivory Coast, completing the top five finalists.


Who is Fatima Bosch?

Fatima Bosch hails from Santiago de Teapa in the Tabasco region of Mexico, becoming the first woman from Tabasco to earn the Miss Universe title, according to Gulf News.

She pursued fashion design at Mexico’s Universidad Iberoamericana before continuing her education at Milan’s Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti and the Lyndon Institute in Vermont. Her journey in pageantry began in 2018 when she won Tabasco’s prestigious Flor de Oro crown.

Bosch has also spoken openly about her personal challenges, sharing that she struggled with “Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)” and “dyslexia in high school.”
