New Delhi: Popular news portal UPUKLive has sent a strong legal notice to Khabar Monkey portal. Khabar Monkey was copying and pasting their news, headlines, photos, graphics and the entire article exactly on their portal without permission. Even UPUKLive’s logo and watermarked images were being used freely.

The editor of UPUKLive says that Khabar Monkey completely copied not only small news but even big feature stories, headlines and photos. In many cases, even our logo was clearly visible, yet everything was printed without credit and without permission. This is a direct violation of the Copyright Act 1957 and the Trademark Act 1999.
