The Kia Sorento was completely under wraps during spotted testing, but the car’s boxy and sturdy design was clearly visible. It features Kia’s signature tiger nose grille, T-shaped LED DRLs, raised bonnet and square wheel arches. The SUV gets 19-inch alloy wheels and a flat tailgate. The global model has a length of 4.8 meters and a wheelbase of 2800 mm, making this car spacious in terms of cabin space.
The interior has not been officially revealed yet, but the Indian model is also expected to get the same luxury and premium cabin as the global model. It gets a panoramic curved screen setup, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, wireless charging pad and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

It is likely to get multiple airbags, ADAS, 360-degree camera, ESC, hill-start assist and advance braking system for customer safety. A look at the rotary dial gear selector makes it clear that the Sorento may be launched in India only in a hybrid version.
Globally, the Kia Sorento is available with 1.6L Turbo Hybrid, 1.6L Plug-in Hybrid, 2.5L Petrol and 2.5L Turbo Petrol engine options. In India, however, Kia may use its 1.5L petrol engine in the Sorento by switching to a hybrid setup.
The launch of the Sorento Hybrid in India will introduce a new, powerful and economical hybrid option in the SUV market, offering a great combination of power, mileage and luxury.
The starting price of the 2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid in India is estimated to be around Rs 35 lakh. After its launch, this SUV could compete with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and MG Gloster.
