Gumla: A monthly crime review meeting was organized under the chairmanship of District Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Zaman. Trainee IAS, Gumla/Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Gumla, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Chainpur/Gumla/Basia, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Gumla/Zonal Inspector, Gumla/Chainpur/Sisai/Basia, Police Inspector-cum-Station Incharge, Gumla, Police Inspector Incharge, CCR, Gumla along with all the station incharges and branch incharges were present. First of all, on the occasion of Christmas festival and New Year-2026, there is a possibility of a large number of people reaching the tourist/picnic places in Gumla district to celebrate the festival/picnic. For this, all police station in-charges were directed to continuously keep special vigil/patrol for maintaining security/law and order at tourist/picnic places etc. under their respective police stations.

1. To take necessary action to prevent illegal sale and smuggling of drugs.

2. Regarding execution of pending warrant/attachment.

3. Review of cases of murder/rape/POCSO/SC-ST/robbery/robbery/kidnapping etc.

4. Regarding identifying illegal mining/sand/chips smugglers and taking legal action against them.

5. Regarding prompt execution of pending applications received under the Right to Information Act/Public Grievance Redressal Programme.

6. Regarding timely execution of letters to passport/character verification.

7. Regarding action to i-RAD/ERS and Dial 112.

8. Regarding e-Sakshya/Sudarshna/Gandiva/Pratibimb App.

9. Regarding awareness of road safety rules.

10. Regarding running an awareness campaign among the general public to prevent witchcraft/human trafficking/migration and crimes to women.

All the police station in-charges were reviewed the execution of pending warrants/attachment/un-served warrants/red warrants and standing warrants issued by the Honorable Court and instructions were given for 100% execution of the same. The cases of unnatural deaths were reviewed and instructions were given to immediately register FIR in their respective police station areas and conduct prompt investigation in such cases. The incidents to robbery/robbery/house breaking/SC-ST were reviewed and necessary instructions were given to stop it. Besides, necessary instructions were given regarding solving the problems of the common people coming to the police station by treating them nicely and if the solution is not found, then necessary instructions were given regarding filing FIR immediately. Those station in-charges/officers whose performance was below average were warned for the future and those whose performance was good were rewarded.
