On Tuesday, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for hoisting the saffron flag atop the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya. This event symbolizes the completion of the temple's construction.

Yadav expressed that the presence of Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, during the ceremony added to its significance. The flag hoisting at the temple's summit is a moment of great joy for everyone involved.

Details of the Flag and Its Symbolism

Prime Minister Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat raised the saffron flag, which stands 191 feet tall, at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, marking a pivotal moment in the temple's history. The 'Dharm Dhwaj' features three sacred symbols: Om, the Sun, and the Kovidara tree, each representing profound spiritual values rooted in ancient traditions.

The triangular flag measures 10 feet in height and 20 feet in length. The Kovidara tree is a hybrid of the Mandar and Parijat trees, created by sage Kashyapa, symbolizing ancient botanical integration. The Sun represents Lord Ram's lineage, while Om signifies the eternal spiritual sound.

Prime Minister Modi's Remarks on the Flag

Discussing the symbolism of the flag, Prime Minister Modi stated that it represents the rebirth of an ancient civilization and embodies the ideals of Ram Rajya. He emphasized that this flag is not merely a piece of cloth; it signifies the rejuvenation of Indian civilization. The saffron color, the Sun's representation, the Om symbol, and the Kovidara tree all reflect the glory of Ram Rajya.

This flag serves as a commitment, a realization of the struggles for creation, and a manifestation of centuries of effort. For thousands of years to come, it will proclaim the values of Lord Ram, emphasizing truth as the essence of religion, advocating for peace, prosperity, and the absence of discrimination or suffering.
