The winning captain of the T20 World Cup 2024 and a player who has played in all nine editions so far could not be a better representative for the tournament.”
The 2026 T20 World Cup will start from February 7. The final match will be played on March 8. Both India and Sri Lanka will host the World Cup. Pakistan will play all their matches in Colombo or Kandy. The format of the tournament will be similar to the 2024 World Cup. In which 20 teams will be divided into four groups. The top two teams from each group in the World Cup will advance to the Super 8. These teams will then be divided into two Super 8 groups with four teams in each group. The top two teams from each of these Super 8 groups will advance to the semi-finals and then the finals.
