TV presenter Jeff Brazier has issued an emotional statement after it was revealed that he secretly split from his wife months ago. The This Morning star has opened up about his marriage split on Instagram and has been married to Kate Dwyer since 2018. Uploading a photo of himself on the beach with Kate, he penned: "I'm so full of love and gratitude for Kate. For all we achieved, for how much we grew, for everything we endured. We separated in the Summer and kept it private for as long as we could to give us some time to adjust. For 12 years, we have been each other's safe space, each other's biggest supporters at a time when our lives have been busy, painful & complex.

"I'm so proud of how hard we worked, how we kept showing up, we gave everything and more. I'm also so full of respect and admiration for the successful career Kate has built and the way she cared for me unconditionally. It's a credit to the woman she is that she still checks in to ask how the boys are doing because she is so invested in their lives."

He then mentioned how much his sons love Kate and how much he will miss her family. He concluded: "We will carry on supporting each other, and I know I'll be celebrating her inevitable wins just like before.

"We both deserve complete happiness, and we're upset that we ultimately couldn't be that for one another, and it felt time to let it go." Jeff also added a love heart emoji.

One person in the comments section said: "This is what true respect is! All power to you both." A second also typed: "Big respect to you Jeff, not that you need to publish your private life. Wishing you both find some happiness in your futures."

Brazier and Kate Dwyer married in Portugal on 15 September 2018. Prior to their relationship, Jefffamously dated Big Brother ex Jade Goodey before she died of cancer in 2009.

Sources have now revealed that Jeff and Kate reportedly grew apart after "a year of hell" involving issues with Jeff's youngest son, Freddy Brazier, 21. Last weekend, the father-of-two hinted that his marriage had ended in a series of cryptic posts online.

On Monday (November 24), the TV star was spotted without his wedding band as he appeared on Good Morning Britain. Meanwhile, Kate spent the weekend dancing in the heart of Las Vegas for the US Grand Prix. She was also spotted without a ring on her finger.
