Laura Woods shockingly collapsed live on ITV while presenting coverage of England Women's game against Ghana.

Arsenal fan Woods fell forward and collapsed towards Ian Wright and Anita Asante, who joined her as the two pundits. The pair attempted to hold the broadcaster up before she fell to ground.

ITV chose to cut to adverts, though audio briefly continued, capturing former Gunners forward Wright checking on Woods before the programme switched to an advertising break.

Shanahan said: "As you might have noticed, we don't have the wonderful Laura Woods.

"She has just been taken ill and is in very good hands."

Woods' fiancee Adam Collard, 30, said: "Laura is all OK and with the right people.

"Thank you for all of your kind messages."

Former Sky Sports presenter Woods is a regular on ITV and TNT Sports, where she presents coverage of the Champions League.

She also worked for DAZN, as part of their coverage of boxing and the Women's Champions League, before leaving the company in July 2023.
