A disturbing incident has come to light from Delhi’s Pandav Nagar area, where a young man died after a road accident — and his body remained inside a locked room for three days while his friends fled out of fear.
Brought Home Injured, Found Dead Next MorningAccording to the police, Faiz alias Sahil met with an accident in Noida after falling off a motorcycle. His friend Sachin, who was with him at the time, lifted the blood-soaked Faiz and brought him back to his rented room in Pandav Nagar. Another friend, Aleem, was already sleeping inside the room when they arrived.
The trio had reportedly consumed alcohol earlier that night.
The next morning, when Sachin and Aleem woke up, they tried to get Faiz to stand up. They shook him repeatedly, even splashed water on his face, but he did not respond. Realizing that Faiz was no longer breathing, panic overtook the two. Instead of informing the police or the family, they locked the room from outside and ran away.
Body Unattended for Three DaysMeanwhile, Faiz’s family tried calling him continuously for three days. When his friends eventually returned to the room and saw that Faiz was still lying lifeless, they finally informed the police.
On December 6, Pandav Nagar police received a PCR call stating that a young man living at House No. 52, Peer Wali Gali, had not been answering calls for three days. Police reached the spot and found Faiz dead with visible head injuries.
CCTV and Call Records Reveal the TimelineA case was registered, and investigators immediately began reviewing CCTV footage and call detail records. It was established that Faiz’s last communication and movements were with Sachin and Aleem on December 2.
Both were called in for questioning.
Sachin’s Statement to PoliceDuring interrogation, Sachin told police:
The three had consumed alcohol together that night.
Aleem went to sleep first.
Sachin and Faiz later went out on a motorcycle to buy cigarettes.
Faiz lost balance at a speed breaker in Noida Sector 16 and fell, injuring his head, nose, and leg.
Sachin took him to his cousin’s house for help, but the cousin refused.
Sachin then brought Faiz back to his room, where they all slept.
Sachin added that the next morning, between 8–9 a.m., both he and Aleem tried to wake Faiz. When he did not respond even after pouring water on his face, they assumed he had died. Out of fear of being blamed, they abandoned the room and stayed silent.
Police Continue InvestigationThe police are now examining whether timely medical attention could have saved Faiz’s life and whether the two friends may face charges for negligence or withholding information.
