Bihar News: The new year is going to bring a big gift for the people of Supaul district of Bihar. The construction work of the new bypass rail line being built between Baijnathpur-Jhajha before Saraigarh Junction on Saharsa-Forbisganj railway section is almost complete. According to railway officials, if everything goes according to plan, this bypass rail line will be inaugurated in the beginning of the new year.
This bypass rail line is considered very important from the operational point of view. After its commencement, most of the long distance trains going from Saharsa towards Darbhanga, Patna and other big cities will pass through this new route via Baijnathpur Junction instead of Saraigarh Junction. This will provide relief to trains from the trouble of frequent stopping and changing direction.
At present, due to stoppage and change of routes of trains at Saraigarh Junction, congestion and operational problems often arise. These problems are expected to reduce significantly after the new bypass rail line becomes operational. Besides, the speed of trains will increase and punctuality will improve.
According to railway sources, almost all the major trains going from Saharsa towards Darbhanga and returning from there will be run through this bypass line. This will save time for passengers and the journey will become easier than before.
There is enthusiasm among the local people regarding the new junction being built in Baijnathpur and Jhajha area. People believe that the opening of the junction will create new opportunities for business, employment and transportation. Supaul, Saraigarh, Baijnathpur and surrounding areas will directly benefit from this.
Employees associated with the construction work said that most of the work to laying the railway line, signaling and platform has been completed. The remaining works are being completed rapidly. After inspection, Railways will decide the date of inauguration. Overall, this bypass rail line will prove to give a new impetus to the development of the entire area.
