The resentment of the students against the irregularities in the recruitment examinations of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is clearly visible. On Monday, a large number of competitive students demonstrated vigorously with posters and banners in their hands outside Gate No. 2 of the Public Service Commission. Within no time this demonstration started taking the form of a great movement.
Let us tell you that the protesting students are demanding many things including exam pattern, irregularity of the calendar and transparency of results, answer key. Students say that the Commission should make public the revised answer keys of all recruitment examinations so that the candidates can get correct information about their marks and evaluation process.
Along with this, students also raised the demand for releasing category wise cutoff marks. Students say that unless the answer key and cutoff are clear, there will be doubts over the selection process. During this, the students raised slogans against the Commission and staged a protest demanding improvement in the recruitment process.
Let us tell you that as the students’ demonstration became more violent, the situation started worsening. After this, the police forcefully removed the protesting students. But during this time a minor clash was also seen between the police and the students. PAC and RAF were deployed along with local police on the spot.
The administration says that the situation is completely under control and adequate security forces have been deployed to deal with any untoward incident. At the same time, the agitating students say that their struggle will continue until their demands are met. This demonstration of students is being monitored through drone cameras.
