The cold winds of winter take away the moisture from the skin, due to which the problem of dry rashes and dryness occurs again and again on the hands and feet. If you are not getting relief even after applying all the lotions, then you just need to make a small change in your night routine. This easy remedy done before sleeping will not only repair the damaged skin, but will also keep your hands and feet soft and supple throughout the winter.

In winter, massage your skin with these things before sleeping at night.

In winter, massage your body gently before sleeping at night. To avoid dry skin, use things like coconut oil, almond oil, aloe vera gel and vitamin E before sleeping at night, which deeply moisturize the skin and make it soft. Coconut oil is great for hydration, while almond oil reduces wrinkles, keeping skin dry and looking healthy in the morning.

Keep these things in mind in winter

    • Moisturize daily: Petroleum or cream-based moisturizers are better than lotions for the skin. If you have sensitive skin, choose a moisturizer without fragrance or lanolin. Apply moisturizer directly to your wet skin after showering so that the moisturizer can help retain the moisture on top of the skin.

    • Avoid extreme cold: Cold temperatures can cause skin diseases or frostbite in some people. If you have pain or blisters along with discoloration of your hands or feet, consult a doctor immediately. If you have severe pain and no sensation in your fingers or toes, you may have frostbite.

    • Protect your skin from the sun: Winter sunlight can also be dangerous for the skin. Even in winter, if you plan to be outside for extended periods of time, you should use sunscreen with a sun-protection factor of 15 or higher. Excessive exposure to sunlight can cause premature aging of the skin and skin cancer.
