Garuda Purana Punishment List: Garuda Purana is a Mahapurana. This Purana is included in the 18 Mahapuranas of Hindu religion. Garuda Purana is based on the dialogue between Lord Vishnu, the protector of the world, and the bird king Garuda. Garuda Purana explains in detail about life, death, journey of the soul, sin, virtue, heaven and hell. This punishment is given to those who insult elders.

In Kalasutram hell, the souls of those people are punished, who do not respect and insult elders during their lifetime. In this hell, the soul of a sinful person is thrown into the fire. Not only this, this process is repeated again and again with the soul of the sinful person in this hell.
