Police say that Reddy had confessed to a woman that he had killed his wife. According to the report of Times of India, Mahendra had sent some messages to 4 to 5 women. A medical professional woman was also included in these. Police say that Reddy had messaged them that 'I have killed my wife for you.'

The special thing is that the woman had blocked him on many apps, after which Reddy sent this message on the PhonePe app. It is reported that Mahendra had come in contact with women in an attempt to get married for the second time. Mahendra had murdered Kritika by giving her anesthesia on April 24. Later the police arrested him from Udupi district on 14 October.

The woman had blocked Mahendra Reddy

The police had recovered a mobile phone and laptop from him. Who were sent to the lab for testing. During the investigation, messages sent by him to women came to light. DCP Whitefield said- Mahendra sent messages to that woman through phone pay. The woman's statement has been recorded. The woman has told the police that she had blocked Reddy even before his marriage. After marrying Kritika, the woman had distanced herself from Mahendra. The woman has said that she has no role in this crime.

Was in contact with the woman till 2023

Not only this, Mahendra had also contacted a woman from Mumbai. According to the report, the investigating officers have found that till the year 2023, Mahendra was in contact with a woman from Mumbai. He had also proposed marriage to her several times. However, later he got a call from his father that Mahendra had died. After this there was no contact between the two. Then in September, Mahendra talked to the woman from Mumbai and told that he was not dead. He told that according to the horoscope, his first wife was about to die. Reddy had also said that now that his wife is dead, he wants to marry her.

Kritika got married in 2024

The case was registered after businessman K Muni Reddy (60) lodged a complaint against his son-in-law Dr Mahendra Reddy GS (31), police said. According to the police, it was alleged that Dr Mahendra killed his wife Dr Kruthika M Reddy (28). Krithika was the younger daughter of Muni Reddy. Muni Reddy said in his complaint that his daughter was an MBBS and MD doctor and was married to Mahendra Reddy on May 26, 2024 in Bengaluru.

Mahendra Reddy is also a doctor. The complainant alleged that after marriage, Mahendra started harassing Krutika. It is alleged that Mahendra pressured Krutika's family to give money for the construction of a big hospital. Muni Reddy alleged that on April 21, 2025, Mahendra gave anesthesia to Krithika intravenously at home, saying that it was for stomach problems. He gave Kritika another dose of this medicine. Next morning Kritika was found unconscious. Muni Reddy alleged that Krithika was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
