Rules of Puja: Worship is done daily in every house. Worship is a medium to connect with God and receive His blessings. Whatever things are used in worship, they are very sacred. Some things remain pure even after being offered to God, while there are some things which are not used again in worship. In such a situation, let us know which thing can be reused in worship? According to religious beliefs, the silver, brass or copper vessels used in worship can also be used again in worship. Similarly, the idol of God, bell, conch, rosary and seat for chanting mantra can also be used repeatedly in worship. These items should be cleaned and kept safe after puja.
Tulsi is considered very important in Hindu religion. Tulsi is worshiped as a mother. Not only this, basil leaves are also used in worship. According to beliefs, Tulsi is never impure or impure. Therefore, if for some reason new Tulsi leaves are not available, then the Tulsi offered earlier can be offered to God again during the puja.
Lord Shiva is very fond of Belpatra. It is told in Shivpuran that Belpatra does not become stale for 06 months. Even after offering Belpatra on Shivalinga, it can be used again. While using Belpatra, one should keep in mind that the Belpatra should not be fragmented, torn or stained.
The food offered to God, water, flowers and garlands, sandalwood and kumkum, incense sticks and lamps, coconuts and intact ones, the oil or ghee left in the burning lamp should not be used again in the puja. According to beliefs, once these things are used in worship, they are no longer pure. Reusing these things in worship does not give its full results.
