The dream of getting a government job in the railways is about to come true for 10th-pass candidates. The Railway Department has issued a notification to fill 22,000 vacant posts in various departments under Group D. According to the notification, applications for this recruitment will start from January 21, 2026.  Once the application process begins, candidates will be able to fill out the form online through the official portal rrbapply.gov.in.

10th Pass Candidates are Eligible for Recruitment
Candidates must have passed the 10th standard from any recognized board to be eligible for the Railway Group D recruitment. The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 36 years. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per the rules.

Selection Process
Candidates applying for this recruitment will first have to participate in a Computer Based Test (CBT) exam for selection. Candidates who secure the required cut-off marks in this exam will be considered successful for the next stage of recruitment, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). After the PET, candidates will have to participate in document verification and a medical examination. After all the stages, the final list of candidates will be released.

How to Apply
To fill the RRB Group D Vacancy Application Form, first visit the official portal rrbapply.gov.in.
On the website's homepage, click on the link related to the recruitment.
First, click on "Create an Account" and register by entering the required details.

After registration, candidates can complete the form by filling in other details.
After filling the form, the prescribed fee must be paid according to the category.
Finally, submit the completed form and take a printout for future reference.

Application Fee
Along with the application, General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500.  For SC/ST, PWD, EBC, and all categories of female candidates, the fee is Rs. 250.
