These also include a product which is very close to the heart of CEO Tim Cook.
According to reports, Apple is planning to upgrade almost every major hardware category. It is expected that 2026 will start with updates to entry-level and mid-range devices. A new MacBook Air with an A-series iPhone chip and a lower-cost MacBook and M5 chip could arrive in early 2026.
iPhone 17e is also being discussed, it is expected that it can be launched as a more affordable option. According to media reports, this phone can be brought with A19 chip, dynamic island and center stage-enabled front camera. This phone will bring the premium design elements of iPhone into the low-cost category. Apart from this, there is also talk of processor upgrade in the base iPad and the company’s M4 chip in the iPad Air.
The accessory lineup is also expected to expand. According to reports, preparations are underway to launch Apple AirTag 2. Next-generation ultra wideband chip can be used in this device for more accurate tracking.
