MLS champion Inter Miami has shared a big news for football fans. Uruguay’s star striker Luis Suarez has signed a new agreement with the club till the 2026 season. In this way, he will be seen playing for another year with his old friend and Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi.

Suarez’s brilliant performance

Suarez joined Inter Miami at the end of 2023. In the 2025 season, he played 50 matches in all competitions, scored 17 goals and gave 17 assists. He played a minor role in the final games of the playoffs, but the team defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps to win its first MLS Cup.

Old Barcelona teammates Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets retired after the MLS Cup. Now only Messi and Suarez are left. The club has signed Sergio Reguilon in place of Alba.
