Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary. On this occasion, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the statue of Atal ji installed in the Lok Bhavan premises and paid tribute to his contribution. On this occasion, CM Yogi also respectfully remembered Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya and Maharaja Bijli Pasi on their birth anniversary and wished Christmas to the Christian brothers of the state.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that today is the sacred birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. While being an MP from Lucknow and as the Prime Minister, he took the country forward with a new vision of development.

He said that this year is special, because the birth centenary of Atal ji is being celebrated with enthusiasm in the entire country. On this occasion, many programs have been organized in educational and training institutions across the country including poetry recitation, debates, writing, journalism and his speeches given in Parliament and international forums.

Represented Uttar Pradesh in Parliament for the longest period

CM Yogi said that the ancestral land of Atal Bihari Vajpayee is in Bateshwar, Agra. His higher education took place in Kanpur and his public life started from Balrampur. He represented Uttar Pradesh in Parliament for the longest period. His great personality and work still remains a source of inspiration for the countrymen.

Double engine government built national inspiration place in Lucknow

The Chief Minister said that to keep the memories of Atal ji alive and to take the family of thoughts forward, the Double Engine Government has constructed Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow. Statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay and Atal Bihari Vajpayee have been installed here, along with a digital museum has also been created.

The statue of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee gives the message of national unity and integrity, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay's resolve for Antyodaya and the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee gives the message of harmony and carrying forward the idea of ​​'Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat'. This site will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that the great warrior Bijli Pasi of Lucknow fought bravely against the foreign invaders to protect the eternal traditions of India. CM said that the double engine government is doing the work of revival of Bijli Pasi forts and is expressing gratitude towards the heroic tradition associated with them.
