Infosys Salary Increase Details: IT company Infosys has increased the entry-level salary for freshers. Now a package of up to Rs 21 lakh is being offered annually for specialized technology roles. The company is increasing hiring to strengthen its AI-first capabilities and attract digitally skilled talent. After this decision, Infosys has become one of the Indian IT companies paying the highest salary at the entry level.
According to social media posts and banners reviewed and verified by Bussiness, Infosys is launching an off-campus hiring drive for engineering and computer science graduates of 2025. Its objective is to recruit talented candidates for specialized technology roles. The annual package for these roles will range from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 21 lakh.
These hiring roles include Specialist Programmer (L1 to L3) and Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee). These posts are open to BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MCA and Integrated MSc graduates from Computer Science, IT as well as select circuit branches like ECE and EEE.
The packages offered are as follows.
Rs 21 lakh per annum for Specialist Programmer L3 (Trainee).
Rs 16 lakh per annum for Specialist Programmer L2 (Trainee).
Rs 11 lakh per annum for Specialist Programmer L1 (Trainee).
Rs 7 lakh per annum for Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee).
Infosys Group Chief Human Resources Officer Shaji Mathew told Bussiness that the company is adopting an AI-first approach in all its services. For this, along with upgrading the skills of the existing employees, there is a need for digital talent with deep technical understanding.
“Our entry-level hiring includes both campus and off-campus drives. We have expanded opportunities in the Specialist Programmer track, where packages of up to Rs 21 lakh per annum are being offered,” he said.
Infosys has hired 12,000 freshers in the first six months of FY 2026. The company is moving rapidly towards its target of hiring 20,000 freshers this year. This information was given by Infosys CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka during the September quarter results on 16 October 2025. The company added a total of 8,203 new employees in the September 2025 quarter.
