A shocking case has come to light from Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh, which has shocked everyone from the administration to the police. A plumber living in Banna Devi area of Aligarh metropolis has sent a letter on the IGRS portal of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), declaring himself the owner and heir of the country's historical heritage Red Fort and Qutub Minar of Delhi and Agra.
He has demanded to vacate these heritage sites and hand them over to him or to meet the Prime Minister.
Hand written letters sent on IGRS portal
A person named Akbar, resident of Banna Devi area, sent two hand-written letters on the IGRS portal in the months of September and November. In these letters he claimed that the Red Forts of Delhi and Agra and Qutub Minar were his property. It was written in the letter that either these historical buildings should be vacated and handed over to him or the amount of money he asked for should be provided to him. Apart from this, he also demanded a direct meeting with the Prime Minister.
Also claimed danger to life
Making this whole matter more serious, Akbar has also written in one of his letters that his life is in danger. He claimed that he was facing threat to his life from more than 10 big opposition leaders from different states of the country. All the leaders whose names have been mentioned in the letter are said to be well-known faces in the country's politics.
The matter reached from PMO to police
Taking these letters received by the PMO seriously, they were sent to Aligarh Police for investigation. After this, Banna Devi police station started verification of the case. After receiving the letter, there was a stir in the police department also, because the matter was directly related to the Prime Minister's Office and the historical heritage of the country.
CO II started investigation
The investigation of the case was handed over to CO II Kamlesh Kumar. The police called Akbar, who sent the letter, to the police station and started interrogating him. During the initial conversation it was revealed that Akbar works as a plumber by profession and lives in Banna Devi area.
Not much information received on first day
Akbar was interviewed in detail for the first time on 11 December, but according to the police, not much concrete information could be revealed that day. Akbar stood by his claims, but he had no documents or solid basis to prove these claims.
Lokvani Center will also be investigated
The police is now preparing to call the Lokvani Center operator through whom Akbar had lodged the complaint on the IGRS portal. The police want to know what kind of procedure was followed while registering the complaint and whether anything unusual was noticed.
Police official statement
CO II Kamlesh Kumar said that currently statements are being recorded and all the facts are being verified. He said that the purpose for which the complainant did all this is being investigated. Further action will be decided only after the investigation is completed.
