Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash has hit $750 million in just 10 days of its release making the Avatar trilogy only in history to hit over $6 billion at the worldwide box office.

Released in 2009, Avatar made $2.9 billion at the worldwide box office and Avatar: The Way of Water made over $2.3 billion globally. Avatar: Fire and Ash is now on course to hit $1 billion at the box office and is heading towards at least $1.6 billion biz, globally.

Avatar: Fire and Ash is now on course to hit $1 billion by the end of its third weekend. Which will make James Cameron the only filmmaker in history to hit $1 billion at the worldwide box office four films in a row.

These are Titanic (1997), Avatar (2009), Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) and Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025).

Moreover, if Avatar: Fire and Ash hits $2 billion at the worldwide box office, James Cameron will be the only filmmaker in history to go past $2 billion mark four times in a row.
