There is great news for candidates dreaming of a job as a Constable in Jammu and Kashmir. The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released a notification for the recruitment of a total of 1815 Constable positions. Age Limit
The age of the candidates will be calculated as of January 1, 2025. The minimum age for candidates is 18 years, and the maximum age is 28, 30, or 40 years, depending on the category.

Application Fee
Payment of the application fee is mandatory. The application fee is Rs. 700 for unreserved category candidates, while it is Rs. 600 for SC, ST, and EWS candidates.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination, Physical Standards Test (PST), and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The written examination will consist of multiple-choice questions. There will be a negative marking of one-fourth of a mark for each incorrect answer.
