Millions of farmers in Madhya Pradesh received a gift on Sunday, December 28th. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred Rs. 810 crore to the accounts of 3.77 lakh soybean farmers. The Chief Minister's program under the Bhavantar Yojana (Price Difference Payment Scheme) was held in Jaora, Ratlam district. From there, CM Mohan Yadav pressed a button remotely to transfer the money to the farmers' accounts with a single click.
The Chief Minister's Bhavantar Payment Scheme was recently launched for soybean farmers in Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, if soybean producers receive a price lower than the Minimum Support Price (MSP) in the market, the government compensates them for the difference. As the first installment under this scheme, more than Rs. 300 crore was transferred to the accounts of 1.32 lakh farmers in November.
Farmers' Entitlement
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Bhavantar is not just a scheme, but a reflection of the government's respect for farmers. The Bhavantar amount is the farmers' entitlement. This amount symbolizes the government's commitment to the prosperity of farmers. We will never lag in working for the welfare of farmers. We have dedicated the new year 2026 to the welfare of our food providers. Next year, we will celebrate a farming festival. We will celebrate the prosperity of our farmer brothers. We will bring modern farming methods, agricultural extension services, and new technologies to every village so that our farmer brothers can make the right decisions at the right time to further improve their farming.
Government to Provide Solar Pumps to Farmers
The Chief Minister said that we have fulfilled the promises we made to the people of the state. This journey of development in the state will never stop. We will not let anyone be deprived of the light of development. Everyone's participation in the progress of the state will be ensured. He said that the Ladli Behna Yojana (beloved sisters scheme) currently provides Rs. 1500, and this amount will be increased to Rs. 3000. The Chief Minister said that our government will employ every needy and skilled youth in the state. The government will provide solar pumps to more than 32 lakh farmers in the state. We will also provide farmers with a subsidy of up to 90 percent on the total cost of solar pumps.
