Defying the usual box office trend Dhurandhar continues to stay firmly in the double-digit zone even after completing more than three weeks in theatres. The Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna-led film has once again shown strong momentum recovering quickly after a brief slowdown at the start of the week. Its Day 26 performance clearly reflects that the film’s theatrical run is far from over. How much did Dhurandhar rake? On its 26th day Dhurandhar earned approximately Rs 11.25 crore in India according to early estimates. This figure is higher than its Monday collection of Rs 10.5 crore showing a positive trend during weekdays. The growth is notable especially since the film has already entered its fourth week at the box office. The recent weekend further boosted its total. The spy thriller collected Rs 20 crore on Saturday and followed it up with Rs 22.5 crore on Sunday. These strong weekend numbers helped the film comfortably retain its double-digit streak something very few films manage at this stage. The historic run of Dhurandhar With Tuesday’s earnings included Dhurandhar has now reached a massive Rs 712 crore in India net collections. On Monday the film created history by becoming the first Bollywood movie to cross Rs 700 crore in domestic earnings. This achievement has firmly placed it among the biggest box office successes in Indian cinema. The steady performance suggests strong audience interest driven by positive word-of-mouth and repeat viewership across both urban and mass centres. Worldwide collection and global rankings The film is performing equally well overseas. By Day 25 its worldwide box office total stood at Rs 1081 crore. Over the past weekend Dhurandhar surpassed major blockbusters like Kalki 2898 AD and Pathaan entering the list of the seven highest-grossing Indian films of all time. Its next milestone is the sixth position currently held by Jawan which earned Rs 1160 crore globally. If the film maintains its current momentum it could cross this mark by Friday or Saturday. Will Dhurandhar break more records? The next few days will be crucial as the film’s fifth weekend will determine how far it can go. A strong weekend push could help it challenge the lifetime collections of KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 1215 crore) and RRR (Rs 1230 crore). Directed by Aditya Dhar the film also stars Sanjay Dutt R. Madhavan Arjun Rampal Rakesh Bedi Sara Arjun Danish Pandor Saumya Tandon Gaurav Gera and Naveen Kaushik. Its gripping espionage narrative powerful performances and high-energy action have helped sustain its exceptional run in both domestic and international markets.
