Victoria Jones, the daughter of legendary actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead on Thursday (January 1), according to reports. The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed to TMZ that it responded to a medical emergency at the San Francisco Fairmont around 3 a.m. local time on New Year's Day. The fire department said that an unnamed individual was found dead at the scene. The San Francisco Police Department additionally confirmed to PEOPLE that officers responded to the hotel on Thursday, where they met with paramedics and declared an unnamed adult female dead.

A cause of death is unknown, though NBC Bay Area said that foul play is not suspected. A source told the Daily Mail: "A white female around her mid-30s was found unresponsive and the hotel staff was alerted.

"CPR was done, but she was pronounced deceased by the emergency/ambulance crew that responded to the scene."

It has since been confirmed to Daily Mail that the deceased woman was Victoria.

Victoria, 34, was lying on the ground of the 14th floor of the Fairmont hotel in San Francisco when a guest thought she might be drunk and alerted hotel staff, a source told the Daily Mail as chilling new details emerge.

The staffers then realised Victoria was unresponsive and immediately started CPR and called for an ambulance.

A spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department is now asking anyone with information about Victoria's untimely death to contact the department.

Victoria is the daughter of Jones and his second wife Kimberlea Cloughley, whom he was married to from 1981 to 1996.

She made her on-screen debut with a small part in her father's picture Men in Black II.

Victoria would later go on and make appearances in a handful of acting projects as a child, including a 2005 episode of One Tree Hill and a role that same year the Western picture The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which was directed by her father.

In 2017, she made an appearance for the premiere of his movie Just Getting Started, also starring Morgan Freeman and Rene Russo.

After directing his daughter in The Three Burials of Melquiades, Jones praised his daughter's performance, saying, "She's a good actress, has her SAG card, speaks impeccable Spanish."

He added: "When she was a baby, I told Leticia, her nurse, to speak to her in Spanish."
