New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the revised timetable for the 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. The board had earlier postponed the Class 10 and 12 exams scheduled for March 3, 2026, due to administrative reasons. According to CBSE, "The examinations for the subjects of Class 10 and Class 12 that were earlier scheduled for March 3, 2026, have been postponed due to administrative reasons." As per the revised timetable, the Class 10 exam will now be held on March 11, 2026, while the Class 12 exam will be conducted on April 10, 2026. Students can view and download the revised timetable on the board's official website, cbse.gov.in.
When will the regional and foreign language papers be held?
According to the new schedule, the Class 10 regional and foreign language papers (Tibetan, Bhoti, Bhutia, Bodo, Tangkhul, Mizo, Kashmiri, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Bahasa Melayu), along with academic electives such as Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy, will be held on March 11. The Class 12 Legal Studies paper will be held on April 10. For the first time, the Class 10 exams will be conducted in two phases next year – from February 17 to July 15, 2026.
